CoveritLive Weekly: Top five Social TV events (Oct. 28 – Nov. 3, 2013)

After a week that featured a variety of new events from around the world, this week’s edition of the CoveritLive Social TV rankings comes with a heavy Swedish flare. European football in Sweden notched three spots in the top five, while the NFL maintained a spot in the ratings and F1 racing earned a place for the second straight week.

Five American sporting events swept the top five spots last week in the CoveritLive weekly Social TV rankings. A pair of NFL game day implementations landed in the top five, while a specialty PGA event, collegiate football and live coverage of UFC 166 leapt into the fray.

CoveritLive Weekly: Top five Social TV events (Sept. 30 – Oct. 6, 2013)

After a week that featured a variety of second screen usages two weeks ago, this past week saw a quintet of different sporting events fill out the CoveritLive weekly Social TV rankings. The NFL Network once again anchored the rankings, while international boxing and racing accompanied local NFL coverage and a marquee college football live blog.

The NFL and the NFL Network claimed a spot among the top five for the fourth consecutive week and they own the top spot for the third time during that span. The network’s Thursday Night Football second screen social stream saw more than 280,000 viewers interact with the dashboard experience’s social content.

CoveritLive Weekly: Top five Social TV events (Sept. 23-29, 2013)

This week’s CoveritLive Social TV weekly rankings look very similar to last week’s chart, as NFL football, America’s Cup Racing, Australian Rules Football and reality TV took center stage.

The NFL and the NFL Network posted their third-straight Thursday Night Football event with an audience in excess of 300,000 viewers this week. The audience of more than 321,000 followed the social conversation as the San Francisco 49ers rolled past the St. Louis Rams, 35-11.

CoveritLive: August 2013 in review

The month of August was a landmark period for CoveritLive as more CiL users participated in events last month than in any other month since the self-service model launched in July 2012.
