The month of July saw CoveritLive audiences engage with a wide variety of experiences and this edition of monthly highlights takes a look at some of the month’s most successful implementations. The highlights feature Bundesliga European football coverage, live news reporting from Chattanooga, Tenn., a reality TV second screen experience and MLB All-Star Game coverage.

Chattanooga Times Free Press kept their strong month rolling with its second screen experience for the popular German reality TV program, Summer Jungle Camp (Sommer-Dschungelcamp). The publisher utilized a customized embed of CiL to interact with almost 500,000 fans of the show that is based on the British reality show, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. The final monthly highlight was another domestic entry, this one coming from Gannett’s and its live coverage of Major League Baseball’s All-Star week in Cincinnati. The social stream aggregated staff writer’s posts on everything from Fan Fest, the Home Run Derby, threats of inclement weather, the game and Mike Trout being named the Most Valuable Player.
