CoveritLive engages with more than 1.1 million Academy Awards viewers

The 2013 Academy Awards proved once again to be the highlight of the United States awards season on Sunday night, as more than 1.1 million Social TV viewers joined CoveritLive events during the evening’s festivities. Over 100 online publications and broadcasters, including People Magazine, Yahoo!, LeMonde, Entertainment Weekly, Bild, CTV and New York Magazine used CoveritLive to engage their audiences with interactive coverage of the Oscars.

CoveritLive shines in Memorial Hermann Hospital’s Live C-Section broadcast

On Wednesday, Feb. 21, Houston’s Memorial Hermann Hospital added another line to its already impressive live surgery broadcast resume. The progressive hospital gave the public an unprecedented view into childbirth with its live C-Section that included live tweeting, a CoveritLive event and videos from a doctor’s head-mounted Go Pro camera. This live event was the third in a series of live social events that include an open-heart surgery and brain surgery.

CoveritLive Weekly: Top five Social TV events (Feb. 11-18)
